NComputing L-series virtual desktops

NComputing virtual desktops share the excess power of standard PCs
and make computing simple and affordable. You save money by sharing
the cost of a single PC among multiple users. And your users feel
like they each have their own PC while they simultaneously share
common applications - including web browsers, e-mail, office suites,
and multimedia. Every user has their own keyboard, screen, settings,
applications, and data files, so their experience is just like it
would be if they were working at an independent PC.

Turning one computer into multiple
virtual desktops requires both hardware and software.
Industry leader NComputing bundles their vSpace™ desktop
virtualization software with small boxes (also known as
access devices or thin clients) for a finely tuned complete
solution. NComputing has various models, varying mostly in
how the clients connect to the shared computer. Each of the
three cabling options described below has its own
advantages. |

ETHERNET L-Series

The NComputing L-series connect through standard Ethernet networks.
With Ethernet, the user can be practically any distance away from
the computer.
PCI CARD X-series

The NComputing X-series connect through a PCI card that gets
installed into the PC. This direct connection doesn’t use a network,
so multimedia performance is superb, but the user usually has to be
in the same room as the computer.
