Q: How does the product work? Can I see a demo?
A: CardScan works by scanning a business card and then using a combination of OCR (optical character recognition) and a proprietary interpretive technology to place the information into the correct fields of the database. Our engineers have spent years working on the accuracy of our product, but if the software isn’t sure about a field, it will highlight the field for you to manually review. Demos are available

Q: I have a laptop and a desktop. Can I install the software on both computers?
A: The software license for CardScan requires that the software be used for one individual only. You can install it on two computers as long as they are both used by the same person. Our current licensing requires that only one instance of the program be running at a time for two networked computers used by one individual.

Q: How do software upgrades work? Are they free?
A: Software upgrades are released in two different ways: Point upgrades come out between major releases and are included with the purchase of the major release. For example, currently we are on version 7 of our software. The current point upgrade is 7.0.4 and all version 7 users have free access to this upgrade. When version 8 is released, it will be a major software release and will require payment to upgrade
